Community Relations Coordinator | USS Lexington Museum | Corpus Christi, TX
The USS Lexington Museum is seeking a Community Relations Coordinator to join its Marketing team. This dynamic role is ideal for a communications or marketing professional who enjoys building community relationships, coordinating events, managing social media, and telling compelling stories.
The position serves as a key ambassador for the Museum by representing the organization at community events, supporting media relations, coordinating membership programs, managing military and group relationships, and assisting with special events. The coordinator will also create social media content, maintain community calendars, process donations and memberships, and help promote the Museum through photography, video, and public outreach.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, community relations, or event coordination
Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, and WordPress preferred
Familiarity with audio/visual equipment and event technology is a plus
Valid Texas driver's license required
